Webster’s new indie folk album Underdressed at the Symphony puts listeners on a rollercoaster as she explains a complicated relationship with a lover.

The album begins with “Thinking About You,” in which Webster reflects on her past lover. The song is pretty repetitive, but the upbeat instrumentals are good.

“Feeling Good Today” is different from the rest of her album because of the autotune she uses to sing it. “Lego Ring,” featuring Lil Yachty, is also different from the other songs on the album. The alternative-type beat makes it stick out on the album.

Webster’s song “He Loves Me Yeah!” has a great beat and drums. Although most of her album is about missing someone, this song seems to talk about a great time between her and her lover.

She ends the album with the songs “Underdressed at the Symphony” and “Tttttime,” both of which feature her getting lost again. After the relationship doesn’t work out, she goes back to being how she was before.

The album is overall pretty good. It is repetitive, but the instrumentals and the diversity in genres and beats are nice.
