Baldwin’s Overwatch 2 esports team remains undefeated after defeating Belle Vernon on Wednesday.

Freshman Laeth Salih said the team did a good job pulling through with another win.

“The team altogether played really well and was really confident,” Salih said.

Salih said the whole team played a part in the victory, but freshman Braden Parker stood out.

“He did really well during the match,” Salih said.

The team is currently 6-0, with one more regular-season game to come. Freshman Dylan Leonhardt said the games have been good so far, and is looking forward to the last game and then to playoffs.

“Just play the game and have fun,” Leonhardt said, describing the team’s attitude.

Coach Nathan Elias said that their next game, against Manheim, is going to be a tough game, but the team needs the challenge.

“It might be our toughest match, but we are excited to see which team is better,” Elias said.
