The Highlander bowling team reigned victorious Wednesday night in an away match against West Mifflin.
The team is positioned second in its section and has a good shot at qualifying for WPIALs.
“We have a promising rest of the season. With a win over TJ, we’ll be in first place,” senior Luke Barone said.
The team will face Thomas Jefferson next Wednesday during a home match at Legacy Lanes.
In addition to seeking a team bid for WPIALs, individual athletes can also qualify for WPIALs by maintaining one of the top scoring averages in the section.
