The judging of the door decorating does not start until tomorrow, but an early favorite has to be the door created by science teacher Sarah Lyle and her class as tribute of sorts to fellow science teacher Matthew Urban.

The door includes multiple photos of Urban “Photoshopped” onto a gingerbread man, a snowman, elves, and other Christmas characters.

The Gingerbread men are lying on a Christmas plate above the fire place, the snowman is being treated as a fire hydrant by a dog, and an Urban cut-out is placed outside the door. To top it all off there is a sign above the door saying “Have A Very Murban Christmas.”

“The students wanted to decorate the door and I wanted something untraditional and someone suggested that Mr. Urban would appreciate it and the rest fell into place,” Lyle said.

However, Urban seemed to be at a loss for words regarding the project.

“I don’t want to talk about that door,” Urban said.
