The football team is looking to begin the 2014 season with a bang this Friday night at home at 7:30 against Ambridge.
After making playoffs last year, the team is transitioning to being a more confident unit. The team is returning a four-year starter at quarterback, senior captain Doug Altavilla. He said he is primed to have his best season yet, despite fracturing his elbow in the summer.
“There are still some small things I can’t do, but I am more than ready to play this Friday night,” Altavilla said. “It is the last first game I will ever play at Baldwin, and I really want to enjoy it.”
