The Baldwin boys soccer team won against Hempfield on Thursday, 6-1.

“It is our first section win this year,” junior center midfielder Michael Fry said. “It was the best game (so far) in my opinion.”

Junior striker Brendan Harris played excellently yesterday, Fry said, with Harris scoring two goals.

In addition to Harris’ two goals, junior Connor Brenneman also scored two goals. Junior Jake Kunzman and junior Dang Le each scored one goal.

Looking forward to the rest of the season, Fry said that the Baldwin midfield could use some work. But overall, Fry was happy with the team’s performance and anticipates the team’s next win.

The boys have two home games next week, Tuesday against Canon-Mac, and Thursday against Mt. Lebo.
