The boys volleyball team lost 3-2 to a strong Seneca Valley team on Monday.

“The other team’s setter was really good,” sophomore Austin Kruszewski said.

Still, the Highlanders kept the match close, Senior Rohan Bhattarai said.

“We just need to finish our games better. But we played a great game against a team that’s doing well in WIPIALs right now,” Bhattarai said.

Kruszewski agreed.

“I felt that we played much better than at the beginning of the season, especially with serving,” Kruszewski said.

Bhattarai said teammates Brayden Gremba and Logan Pack played well.

“Brayden played well and competed hard. Logan had great kills and did well on defense as well,” Bhattarai said.

Kruszewski said that senior Bibeak Bhujel played well.

“Bibeak did really well. He was good in the back row,” Kruszewski said.

With this loss, the team is now 6-7. The team’s next game is Thursday against Upper Saint Clair.
