This week Baldwin students were able to choose their favorite edible piece of architecture.
Beth Fochtman’s advanced culinary arts students had to create a gingerbread house for one of their projects, and hundreds of students and faculty voted for their favorite gingerbread house.
Seniors Nicholas Jugovic, Emily Olah, Nelson Mangoliko, and junior Mallory Perfetti won the competition for the fifth period advanced culinary arts class with their tiki-club theme.
“We were happy to see that people enjoyed our house as much as we did,” senior Nick Jugovic said.
Junior Jessica Pavlik completed a house by herself because her friend who came up with the Cookie Monster theme went on vacation, she said.
Pavlik’s house topped the competition for the eighth period class.
