Most students dream of being on the silver screen, but senior Trey Brown has made it onto the big screen.

Brown serves as an extra in the upcoming film Fathers and Daughters starring Russell Crowe and Amanda Seyfried.

In the scene, Brown is lounging around with a fake drink, while pretending to talk and dance with a group of girls while Seyfried and costar Aaron Paul stand at the bar and act out the scene.

The shot was located at The Space Upstairs, a music club in Point Breeze.

“The funny thing about the whole experience was that a two minute scene took six hours to film,” Brown said. “We started filming at 7 p.m., but I didn’t get home until 2:30 a.m.”

The movie is slated for release in late 2015.

The entire production is being shot in Pittsburgh, although the setting of the film takes place in New York City.
