Symphonies allow audiences to connect with classical compositions and complex music, but nine Baldwin students have been given the privilege to see what constitutes the production of a symphony, apart from the music.
Nine Baldwin students have volunteered to participate in the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra’s Audience of the Future through the course of the winter.
The program allows students to learn about the production of the symphony, from marketing to lighting. Schools all over the area participate in the program and Baldwin is allotted an unlimited amount of volunteer spots to participate.
“It inspires people to look into the world, further than just the music,” junior Sarah Dillinger said.
