Baldwin’s inline hockey team is hoping to ride its hot streak into the semi-final round of the playoffs this weekend.

The team will drop the puck against Pine-Richland in a best-of-three series starting Saturday at 2 p.m. and continuing Sunday at 11 a.m. in Harmarville.

Senior defenseman Scott Borman said he believes his team will be successful if they play to the best of their abilities and have the right mindset.

“We have to be confident, play to our strengths, and don’t go in with a big head,” Borman said.

Borman said he believes that if the Highlanders stick to what has made them successful all year, then everything will fall into place.

“We expect to win, but we want to play our game,” Borman said.

The inline team defeated Penn-Trafford 4-1 in their first playoff matchup last Sunday.

Junior Nathan Hobson along with seniors Anthony DiLucia, Jack O’Brien, and Borman scored in the win.
