Following a tough loss to Fox Chapel earlier this week, the boys varsity tennis team is preparing to face Shady Side Academy today.

“Shady Side was No. 1 last year,” junior Shishir Timsina said. “We’ve been drilling on all areas and working a lot on doubles.”

Timsina said Shady Side is a strong team in all aspects, but has not been as good this year compared to previous years.

“Some schools are way better and some are way worse,” Timsina said. “We at least want to make them earn their win.”

The home game begins at 3:30 p.m.
