Indie pop artist Kevian Kraemer’s new EP, Only If It Matters, is definitely worth a listen.
Kreamer is not a popular artist, but he should be because of the great tunes and vocals that he has. This EP definitely shines a light on how great he is for listeners who are looking for an indie sound that leans toward pop.
This is his third EP. His last EP, Jersey or Mars, was also a great listen.
The song ”Wannabe!” was released as an advanced single. It has phenomenally great drums and a catchy beat that pulls listeners in.
Another great song on the EP is ”How Can You Tell?”, which starts with people talking, and then it moves into his vocals and instruments in the background. The lyrics in this song are fantastic: They are about meeting someone who just feels like the right person.
Then, in ”I Just Get Worse,” he adds electric guitar into the start of the song, with sound effects in that background that clash with his voice. The lyrics are melodic, helping it all blend together perfectly.
This EP has seven songs lasting 22 minutes long, about the same length as his other EPs.
Only If It Matters distinctly reminds listeners of a beach day in summer with headphones on and while tanning or reading a book. This EP was released at the perfect time – just in time for summer.
