R&B artist Daniel Caesar’s Freudian, released in 2017, is one of the best modern love albums.

With hit tracks “Get You” and “Best Part,” this album has recently gained more popularity.

“Get You” is the first song on the album and is an introduction to the artist’s love life. He feels that he and his partner are destined to be together, and he expresses how lucky he is.

The song opens up with the lines, “Through drought and famine, natural disasters / My baby has been around for me.”

Caesar expresses the intimacy and true love he has with and for his partner. This song always brings a good feeling to listeners.

“Best Part” features H.E.R., another R&B singer. This song provides the same feeling as “Get You,” but it has its own unique lyrics.

To open the second verse, H.E.R. sings, “You’re the coffee that I need in the morning / You’re my sunshine in the rain when it’s pouring.”

Caesar and H.E.R. sing about the devotion they have for their partner. The chorus goes on to explain their partner’s qualities and the need for their love. The lyrics convey a special bond between two people who are irreplaceable.

Overall, this album brings amazing songs to this genre, and it outlines the true love that this generation lacks.

People who like R&B should definitely give this album a try.
