Despite the rough performance, there were still some bright spots.

The Baldwin boys baseball team lost to Central Catholic on Monday, 5-2.

Central was able to win with good hitting and pitching, junior Dylan Hartman said.

“They hit very well and had a dominant pitcher that we couldn’t hit off of,” Hartman said.

Despite the result, there were some positives.

“We continued to field well,” Hartman said. “It has been a positive so far this season for us.”

Hartman said sophomore Aiden Robinson was a standout player for the Highlanders.

“He drove in our only runs with a two-run RBI single,” he said.

The boys will go up against Central today at 4 p.m at Wallace.
