Unless someone is walking around Lawrenceville and needs a quick drink, Caffee D’Amore is not worth the drive. The little coffee shop has a welcoming vibe but the coffee is not as impressive. They use local coffee and ingredients such as milk and environmental friendly cups as well. However, the overpriced salted caramel latte lacks flavor. The coffee tastes bland and has only a small hint of salted caramel. The small cup of coffee is pricier than a normal cup at a coffee chain. The menu has little to offer and the options are not worth trying. There are only a few flavors of coffee offered and it lacks many food options or specialty drinks. The workers make small talk while preparing the coffee, which is nice considering most places just call your name out. The friendly vibe distracts from the mediocre coffee and makes the customer feel valued. People sit at a table on their laptops, much like other coffee shops, but it is not busy enough to have to write names on cups. With such a creative name, customers might anticipate coffee with innovative flavor. Honestly, most people could make the same coffee in a Keurig at home.
