Three seniors participated over the weekend in the PA Music Educator Honors Choir Festival. The festival combined schools from Allegheny County and the surrounding counties.
Seniors Scott Friedman, Olivia Shoup, and Steven Tsambarlis applied and were chosen by the choir teacher, Kris Tranter.
The festival was non-competitive and gave participants the opportunity to work with professionals in the music industry. The three learned a lot and got to sing with many students.
“It was fun to sing with a mixed group of kids who all wanted to be there and were extremely talented,” Shoup said.
