The Baldwin girls lacrosse team lost to Moon Township 21-1 on Tuesday night.
Moon’s success was mainly due to their dominant offense and strong goalkeeper.
“Moon was really fast, and they had a really good offense, also their goalie was great,” sophomore Keely Duzyk said.
Freshman Tessa Super said Baldwin needs improvement in several areas.
“We can improve on calling for the ball and working on crashing on defense,” Super said.
Duzyk said passing is another area to work on.
“We do well communicating as a team, but we need to try harder to pass the ball up the field and not get tired,” Duzyk said.
Despite the score, Baldwin maintained a positive attitude and had consistent effort.
“We did well with keeping up morale the entire game, even though we had a hard game,” Duzyk said.
Duzyk highlighted sophomore Maddie Murphy for her efforts in the game.
“Maddie Murphy played very well overall. She was playing the field well and also having a lot of control,” Duzyk said.
The team’s final home game is 6 p.m. Thursday against Seton-LaSalle.
