The Baldwin boys volleyball team on Tuesday defeated Bethel Park in three sets on senior night to remain undefeated in section play.
Senior Brayden Gremba gave credit to the whole team for the win.
“We all played well as a team and that led us to the win,” Gremba said.
He was also happy that Baldwin was able to get a lot of different players in.
“Because we were winning the whole game, we were able to put some junior varsity players in who usually do not get varsity time,” Gremba said.
Although the Highlanders won, there was still some room for improvement this season.
“We needed to keep better focus throughout the game. If we did that, we would have put them away much quicker,” Gremba said. “Bethel Park battled pretty well.”
Gremba said he enjoyed the senior night and that it was a great experience.
“Senior night was awesome. I am glad I got to have that experience with my family,” Gremba said.
The Highlanders have already clinched a section title this season and have made the playoffs.
Their next game is tomorrow at Peters Township High School. It will be their last game of the regular season before playoffs.
