The boys volleyball team maintained its undefeated section record on Thursday by taking down Bethel Park 3-0.
Junior Martino Suta highlighted junior Pritam Neopaney and senior Alex Kelly for their contributions throughout the game.
“Pritam played really well, going three for three on kills,” he said. “Alex Kelly’s serves helped us gain a lead throughout all of the sets.”
Kelly applauded senior Austin Kruszewski and senior Brayden Gremba for their performances.
Suta complimented the team on their energy throughout the game, saying the Highlanders kept “high intensity throughout the whole game.”
Kelly credited Bethel for their offensive play.
“Their setter set the ball well. He did a good job giving everyone a chance to swing when things weren’t going this way,” Kelly said.
Suta has high hopes for the team’s success going forward.
“The season is looking great for Baldwin, being 4-0 in the section and being a feared team to play against,” he said. “We are trying to win our section. It will be tough, but I know we can make it happen.”
The team’s next game is at home at 7 p.m. Tuesday against Peters.
