The boys lacrosse team lost 13-1 against Chartiers Valley on Monday.
Senior Alex Myers credited Chartiers Valley’s defense for how they were able to shut down Baldwin’s offense.
“They were just able to be consistent the whole game,” Myers said. “They definitely locked our offense up.”
Myers thinks the team’s offense needs to improve for upcoming games.
“For our offense, we are just trying to pass and not going to the net,” Myers said.
Despite the loss, junior Owen McLuckie stood out throughout the game.
“He always brings the energy,” Myers said.
Freshman Jackson Voelker agreed that McLuckie was a big contributor, scoring Baldwin’s only goal.
Senior Evan Szpara also played well and had a great game, both Voelker and Myers agreed.
“He had a really good defensive game,” Voelker said.
Baldwin will welcome Bethel Park for their next game on Wednesday at 7:30 p.m.
