The girls lacrosse team lost to Mt. Lebanon 18-3 on Monday.
Mt. Lebanon is good at communication and has a lot of players, sophomore Keely Duzyk said. She knew it was going to be a tough game right away.
“They had a lot more players on the team, so it gave them an advantage that they could switch out players and not tire out as easily,” Duzyk said.
Senior Olivia O’Malley scored all three of Baldwin’s goals and overall had the best overall play, Duzyk said. Sophomore Charlotte Landis agreed.
“She works really hard and she was very confident even when the other team was very aggressive toward her,” Landis said.
Despite the loss, Baldwin’s defense stayed strong against their opponents.
“We need to learn how to stay more confident and not overthink when we’re on the field,” Landis said.
The team’s next game is Monday at home against Canon-Mac.
