The Baldwin boys lacrosse team lost 14-1 against Canon Mac on Saturday.
Senior Evan Szpara said passing the ball was the biggest issue for Baldwin.
“We could not really get the ball down the field,” Szpara said.
Szpara complimented Canon Mac on their ability to cut, or maneuver for a pass. He said that they kept running the same plays.
“We didn’t adapt to it,” Szpara said.
Szpara thinks that despite the challenges, the defense still played well.
“The defense stayed pretty strong.’’ Szpara said.
Sophomore Kaden Kicinski played especially well according to Sparza.
“He had four caused turnovers, so that’s pretty good,” Szpara said.
Szpara caused six turnovers himself and overall believed he had a decent game.
The next game is Tuesday against Franklin Regional.
