The Baldwin bowling team defeated Thomas Jefferson on Wednesday, 2-1.
“We lost the first game but won the last two,” junior Cooper Sturges said.
Sturges said he had difficulty in the first two games but was able to pull it together for the last one.
“I struggled the first two games, and then in the third one I pulled a 234, so it was pretty good,” Sturges said.
Another notable performance on the team came from junior Mikey Quallich, who hit a challenging split.
“Mikey Quallich bowled really well, hitting a good split,” Sturges said. “There were three pins set up, and then there was one all the way in the corner.”
The team’s next game is against Neighborhood Academy on Tuesday.
