The Baldwin boys basketball team defeated Sto-Rox 82-60 Friday night.
Sophomore Sadiq Anderson said the team worked well together to get this win.
“I think we did well passing and getting open for three-pointers and fast-break layups,” Anderson said.
Sophomore Julian Noone had a standout performance, Anderson said.
“Julian Noone got his first varsity points, and it was a three-pointer,” Anderson said.
Anderson said Baldwin can improve on their defense, which is where Sto-Rox was able to sometimes take advantage.
“We’re a smaller team,” Anderson said. “I think we can improve on boxing out and rebounding. Not letting the other team get a second chance to score would be great.”
This victory brings the team’s record to 7-6. The Highlanders’ next game will be at Peters Township at 7:30 p.m. tonight.
