The Baldwin girls basketball team beat Mount Lebanon 50-36 in a non-section game Thursday night.
The team’s overall record moved to 12-2. They are 5-1 in section.
Junior Lynsey Bernotas complemented the team’s passing and shooting in the game.
“We shared the ball well, and our shots were falling,” Bernotas said.
Senior Laci Bernotas was a key contributor to the team’s win, her sister said.
“Laci was hustling the most and making her shots,” Bernotas said.
Lebo, though, had strong moments as well.
“Mount Lebo was very good at defense and held us from scoring at some moments,” Bernotas said.
Despite their decent lead throughout the game and victory, Bernotas sees room for improvement defensively.
“We need to improve on our talking on the court and making sure we are in the right spots on defense,” Bernotas said.
The girls play again tonight at Canon Mac in another out of section game.
