People who come to Baldwin’s second annual Arts Fair on Saturday will be able to see and buy hundreds of works of art – or learn how to create art themselves.
Taking place from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the north and south atriums, the event aims to highlight the arts at school and in people’s lives.
“The whole point of the Art Fair is to recognize the arts. It is a great opportunity to showcase the extraordinary talents we have at the high school,” National Art Honor Society officer Dennis Doyle said.
The artwork on display and for sale will feature work from students in the studio art, crafts, ceramics, and photography classes.
People also can pay to take art lessons that will be taught by students. There will be hot and cold beverages and baked goods sold as well.
The proceeds will be donated to the BHS National Art Honor Society and Relay for Life.
The event also will feature performances by piano soloists, the stage band, and the Baldwinaires.
