The Key Club will be sponsoring a Valentine’s Day Carnation Sale from Feb. 11-13 during all three lunch periods. The flowers come in red, pink, white, and blue and will be $2 each.
“The students did this fundraiser via the Red Cross Club in the past and had success, so the Key Club is very excited to be continuing the tradition,” Key Club sponsor Caroline Babik said.
Students can purchase carnations to give to their friends, significant others, teachers, or secretaries. Half of the proceeds will benefit the Women’s Shelter of Greater Pittsburgh.
“The Women’s Shelter supports women and families who have left domestic abuse situations,” Babik said.
