Out of 15 doors decorated for the holidays, science teacher Sarah Lyle’s “A Merry Murban Christmas,” a tribute to fellow science teacher Matt Urban, came in first in the judging of the student council event.

Coming in second was French teacher Katie Jarocki, and third was business teacher Shantal Baldensperger.

Jarocki, who organizes the event as student council co-sponsor, said her favorite doors were computer science teacher Jay Closky’s because it was unique and Baldensperger’s because it looked like something Jarocki would think of.

“As winners, Ms. Lyle’s class gets a pizza party. I just want to thank everyone who participated. Every door was really creative, and I can’t wait to see who participates next year,” Jarocki said.
