One additional benefit of the High School Nation tours that came to Baldwin last year and this past fall is that Baldwin also received donations for arts and music supplies.
The donations included: a Jam Hub, which allows musicians to play together and hear each other through headphones; a set of wireless microphones; guitar equipment, and a top-quality drum set that usually retails for several thousand dollars. Baldwin also received $500 for art supplies.
“It was a great event anyway, and the fact that they are donating supplies and money to the art department, it is tremendous,” graphic design teacher James Wodarek said.
