Baldwin joins the Hour of Code program

BY TORI HOCHENDONER

Staff Writer

Today the high school is participating in the Hour of Code program for students to learn more about computer programming.

“The purpose of this is to get every person in the world to learn how to code for an hour. Last year 15 million students participated,” gifted coordinator Debbie Reynolds said.

The Hour of Code is a program that teaches students how to make apps, games, and ultimately get more experience behind the computer.

“It’s just important because we all use technology but never take the time to learn about it or how to create it,” Reynolds said.

If students are interested they can report to the office to sign up or go to room 319 from periods 2 through 7 to learn an Hour of Code.
