Band plays at Steelers game

BY NIC BABIC

Staff Writer

While most students watched the Steelers game from their homes on Sunday, the Baldwin band had seats on the field, after performing a number at Heinz Field before the game.

Junior Stephen Tsambarlis, a drum major, said the band played the number “American Salute” in front of the Heinz Field crowd before the game against the Colts. Band members also got free tickets to the game and had seats close to the Indianapolis bench.

“It was cool to sit close to the field. The experience was definitely exciting,” Tsambarlis said.
