Students today have the chance to vote during lunch on whether the senior king and queen of homecoming should be crowned at the Friday football game or the Saturday night dance.
Initially, the senior homecoming court was going to be announced during halftime of the game, but the king and queen were going to be crowned at the dance.
Student council co-sponsor Katie Jarocki said the vote was being taken to make homecoming as student-oriented as possible.
“We wanted the student body to decide what to do,” Jarocki said.
Even though the vote concerns only the senior king and queen, students from all classes may vote. Students who do not have a lunch can see Jarocki or co-sponsor Steve Sinning to vote.
