Hard Knocks offered a good look at the Jets

Jets+offseason+is+featured+in+newest+season+of+hard+knocks+this+year
Jets offseason is featured in newest season of hard knocks this year

With the NFL season here, that means another season of Hard Knocks is wrapped up for the year, with this year’s five-episode series focusing on the New York Jets.

The documentary style continues to work for the show, with the dynamic between quarterbacks Aaron Rodgers and Zach Wilson making for great viewing. Wilson and Rodgers have a bond almost like brothers, poking and joking around with one another. (Rodgers suffered a season-ending injury in the first game of the season on Monday.)

Most of the episodes feature training camp but viewers occasionally saw parts of the Jets’ preseason games. The film crew got in-depth parts of practice, including fights between players and position meetings.

The team even brought in a magician in the second episode in the series, and viewers got to see these NFL players – who are normally only seen locked in and focused during a game – actually open up for viewers.

Stars wide receiver Garrett Wilson and cornerback Sauce Gardner were also featured in the show, each getting a chance to share their perspectives on training camp. Viewers also got inside the huddles of the guys on the defensive and offensive lines, which made for some natural comedy throughout the show.

One of the highlights was a joint practice the team had with the Carolina Panthers. There were a lot of good moments throughout that session.

Hard Knocks is not loved by everyone but the new season seemed to do its justice this year.
