The girls tennis team plays in the fall sports season.

The girls tennis team beat Allderdice 3-0 in a rain-shortened match on Thursday night.

Baldwin was able to successfully outplay Allderdice due to their teamwork and consistency.

“We all get along really well, which helps us in doubles and keeping rallies,” junior Julia Johnson said.

Senior Olivia Garofalo agreed.

“We were really hard working and consistent during the match. We were giving it our all.”

Garofalo and junior Emily Nowicki were key players in the match.

“The biggest moment was when Emily Nowicki was able to beat two of her opponents back to back,” Johnson said.

Garofalo was the player of the game, as she consistently played well, Johnson said.

The team’s next meet is Monday against Shady Side.
