The girls tennis team plays in the fall sports season.

The girls tennis team lost to Bethel Park on Thursday.

Junior Emily Nowicki noted that Bethel was particularly good with their serves.

“Their serves were really powerful and had slices we weren’t used to returning,” Nowicki said.

Although the team faced a loss, senior Gabrielle Moder stood out with consistent rallies, senior Olivia Garofalo said.

The team has been working hard to improve as the season goes on.

“I think we all rallied pretty well even though the scores didn’t show, and we all got really good practice out of the match,” Nowicki said.

Their next match is against Plum on Tuesday.
