Tickets go on sale Monday for Baldwin’s first homecoming dance in years.
The dance will be themed after The Hunger Games and will last from 7 to 10 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 27. Students from other schools are permitted to attend.
Tickets will be $10, and will be sold during all lunch periods, as well as before and after school. Attire will be semi-formal: no jeans or shorts, but girls should not run out to buy a new dress, either. One goal of the homecoming event is to have a dance that does not cost as much as a prom, and does not require clothes shopping.
Activities Director Chris Reilsono said the dance will be a great way to bring the school together.
“It really fits in with the school’s motto that ‘We Are One,’” Reilsono said. “This will build community.”
