Final blood drive being held Thursday

BY MICHAELA INDINO
Staff Writer

On Thursday, the high school is hosting the third and final blood drive of the year.

English teacher Susan Fagnilli and science teacher Jim Bench schedule and organize the drives.

Students 17 and older are invited to donate as their class schedule permits. But students can make an appointment through the Central Blood Bank, Fagnilli said.

Students must bring a picture ID.

“We usually average between 80 and 90 units (of blood), at the end of this one we should have 300 total units,” Fagnilli said.

The Central Blood Bank is giving out a pair of flip flops to each person who donates.

“We bring the blood drives to the school so we can make life-long donors,” Fagnilli said.
