Five Baldwin students will head to the University of Pittsburgh Tuesday for the Euro Challenge, a competition in which students study a problem happening in a European country and plan a solution to fix it.
Freshmen Stevie Kisty and Natalie Weida along with sophomores Morgan Schaming, Luke Gezovich, and Dighan Kelly have been preparing their 15-minute presentation on the Netherlands and its economy since late December.
If the team finishes at the top, it will go to New York City and present at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York in the national competition.
Baldwin has finished first or second every year since the school started competing five years ago. The last two years, Baldwin has lost to North Allegheny by one point, gifted coordinator Debbie Reynolds said.
