Eight students and one teacher have been recognized for their leadership qualities with Highlander Pride awards.
The winners are Maura Kay, Douglas Altavilla, Sarah Welsh, Corinne Kirk, Narhari Pokherl, Justin Zinsmeister, Katie Thorpe, Anthony Alaimo, and history teacher Kate Deemer.
“It was an honor to be recognized by a teacher for the leadership qualities I try to show every day,” Zinsmeister said.
The winners will be recognized at a reception on March 20 in the LGI room.
