Boys look to close hoops season with win against TJ

BY ANDREW PRYOR
Staff Writer

Following a loss to Bethel Park on Friday, the boys basketball team closes out its season tonight with a home game against Thomas Jefferson.

Senior Steve Greiner said the team just came up short on Friday against Bethel.

“We all played our part, but they (Bethel) were on and we were off,” Greiner said.

The game tonight against TJ is the last game of the season, and Baldwin hopes to end its losing season with a win.

“You always want to beat TJ. It’s a borderline rivalry, and they have some big, athletic players,” Greiner said.

Tonight is also the last game ever for seniors, and Greiner says a win against TJ would be a great way to end his high school basketball career.

Tip-off is at 7:30 tonight in the gym. Student tickets will be sold at the gate.
