The Highlanders girls soccer team lost 2-1 Wednesday night against Allderdice.

The team was fatigued due to a game the night before, senior Megan Flavin said. Although it was a losing effort, there were still some positives.

“We worked together and freshman Robyn Sopata and Tori DiCesare played well on offense and defense,” Flavin said.

Senior Alina Stahl scored the lone goal for the Highlanders.

The girls next opponent is North Hills on Saturday.

“Hopefully we can bounce back and get a win on Saturday,” Flavin said.
