The Baldwin girls volleyball team swept their first match with a 3-0 win Tuesday night against Peters Township.

Senior middle hitter Brianna Phillips said she is excited to see the team improve during the rest of the season.

“I thought it went well,” she said. “The team played well together and we had a lot of fun.”

The Highlanders did well maintaining their energy. They barely ever let the ball hit the floor and had a lot of intense hits, Phillips said.

From here the team plans to focus on bettering skills and taking it game by game, Phillips said.
