The boys baseball team lost on Monday 4-0 to Bethel Park, ending Baldwin’s chances to qualify for the playoffs.

Senior Anthony Rago said that the Highlanders didn’t do what they had to do.

“Errors killed us,” Rago said. “Nothing went right, and it came when we needed our best game.”

Rago said the team is frustrated that they didn’t do a better job against Bethel’s pitcher.

“They brought their ace at us,” Rago said. “We hit the same pitcher around earlier in the season during our previous game against them.”

With missing the playoffs comes disappointment, and that is where the baseball team stands right now.

“We know we are much better than the results show and we just didn’t play up to our potential,” Rago said.

Baldwin’s section record stands at 8-7 with one more game remaining.
