D.J. Bear Grillz brought the ceiling down – literally — at the Rex Theater Thursday night. The dubstep artist’s set was so loud the dry wall began falling from the ceiling and the Pittsburgh city police had to force him to turn down his subs.

Openers Wooli, Pogman, and Midnight Tyrannosaurus also dropped plenty of songs to get the audience ready for the opening act.

Midnight Tyrannosaurus dropped his renowned song “Planet Purge,” which got the entire audience in an uproar and resulted in multiple mosh pits.

Bear Grillz began the show with a giant electronic bear head on to get the audience excited.  He opened with songs off his latest EP, This is Your Brain on Dubstep, and led into chops of other artist’s songs.

He featured a back-to-back drop of Excision’s “Throwing Elbows” and Herobust’s “Heroes,” which had everybody headbanging.

His visuals featured screens that looked like a beehive that would flash different colors and would appear to fill up with honey.

His show did not let up once and had back-to-back drops throughout the entire night. It was every basshead’s dream.
