The girls softball team continued its unbeaten streak on Monday, winning 5-0 in their section game against Upper St. Clair.

The Highlanders went in expecting to win, and backed up that optimism on the field.

“Addie Tag pitched well and we had runners on base every inning,” junior Taylor Dadig said.

Junior Carly Santillo also had a key hit, Dadig said.

The team is 3-0 in its section and 5-0 overall.

“Our toughest competition, Canon-Mac, we play on Friday,” Dadig said. “It will be very competitive and should be an easy win if played well.”
