The traditional “Music in Our Schools” concert has been retooled as the “Music Out of the Box” concert that will feature several surprises for the audience.

The concert will take place at 7 p.m. Tuesday in the auditorium. Suggested donation is $5.

“It is going to be more fun for the audience this year,” senior Yasmine Degnan said.

Greg Steele, director of the band, wanted more people to attend the concert and to get a bigger reaction from the audience, so he decided to change the setup of the concert, senior Jason Huber said.

There will be special effects, confetti, and a special guest to add more to the show.

“In past years the show was slow moving, but this year we are going out with a bang,” Huber said.
