Hockey team defeats Beaver
The varsity ice hockey team defeated Armstrong on Monday night.

The first-place ice hockey team earned another big win on Thursday, defeating Beaver 4-2.
Seniors Dom Carlino and Paul Knerr each scored, and sophomore Lucas Kirk added two goals.
Goalie Cole Shannon also played a key role in the Highlanders’ win, Knerr said.
“We are just going to keep it simple and hopefully everything will work out,” Knerr said.
Knerr said the team has a more serious approach this year than in some previous years.
As the team is looking ahead for playoffs, sophomore Cole Shannon said the goal is simply to “win it all.”
The team’s last regular season game will be on Monday against South Fayette.
