Student council will be sponsoring a Glow Dance on Nov. 12 in the gym.

Karl Geisler, student council sponsor, said student council members proposed the idea.

“We have it planned for Nov. 12, and we are all looking forward to it,” Geisler said. “But we still have a lot of work to do.”

Student Council Co-Vice President Nick Pantelis said the idea came about because students were looking for an additional informal dance.

“A lot of other schools do glow dances and a lot of kids here want to do that,” Pantelis said.

The gym was chosen as the location because it is a little big bigger and a little cooler than the atriums, he said.

Geisler said the ticket price has not been set. That and other details will be worked out by student council, starting in a meeting today after school.
