Senior Casey Conboy took second place at the Tri-States meet Thursday at California University.

Conboy said he was pleased with how this year has gone.

“I’m personally doing better this year. I’m not hurt whereas last year I was hurt,” Conboy said.

On Thursday, Conboy finished second to the runner who beat him last year at States.

As for the team overall, Conboy is impressed with their performance.

“We’re doing better than expected this year,” Conboy said.
